As Managing Director of Project Balance, Gary brings a realism and passion to the business that is second to none. Coming from a specialist technical background in the electrical trade and years using his diving skills in various projects in the oil and gas mining and heavy engineering industries, he has a sharp awareness of the importance of building accountability, peer support and professional care in teams.

Gary commenced coaching in 2003, quickly being recognised as a leader in the industry and soon providing training, coaching and mentorship to new coaches through the Life Coaching Institute of Australia. He brings to the coaching relationship an astute awareness of the importance of highly tuned listening, intuition, precise questioning and reflective skills. He is the master of getting his clients to the root cause of their dilemma in record time and allowing them to act quickly on the insights that come from their coaching session.

Having joined forces with the original owner of Project Balance, Karina Butera, through their work as part of the founding management team of High Ideals, Gary has a core belief in the importance of having a strong social, environmental and global conscience. He brings a holistic approach to the work he conducts with his coaching clients – helping companies think on the broadest possible level about their goals, their planning, policies and modes of operating.
