Corporate Yoga

Yoga is accepted around the world as being one of the most effective ways of maintaining full health. It works every muscle, every organ and aids neural functioning in a gentle and non-aggressive way. As a form of exercise that does not require specific work-out clothing or footwear (comfortable clothing is all that is needed) and or have participants working up a sweat, it is the perfect health and fitness practice for staff to participate in during the workday.

Life balance is one of the most difficult ideal for contemporary workers to achieve, and many Australians are overweight, out of shape and constantly ill due to the difficulty of fitting exercise into a 40-50 hour working week with another 10 or more hours of commuting involved. Offering Yoga is one way you can help staff address life balance issues by holding lunch hour, early morning or late afternoon classes.

Joanne Rogers is a qualified Yoga Instructor, trained in the most traditional and gentle stream of Yoga: Hatha. She understands the particular issues faced in workplaces and will not only lead a class that benefits the participants, but she will teach them simple techniques they can use throughout the day to ensure repetitive stress injuries and other chronic conditions are avoided.

Whether it is a one-off class you require for your next ‘Health Week’ or a regular booking, we’d love to be part of your workplace wellbeing strategy. Contact us for further details.
